If you are traveling with your family, we can help make your stay as comfortable and seamless as possible. We suggest that you book one of our ground level apartments, as they have a small outside garden and spacious interior. These units also feature satellite television with Cartoon Network and Disney Channels. The pool is easily accessible, especially from the ground level units.

Boulders Beach Penguins, Boulders Beach

Boulders Penguin Colony is home to a growing colony of the vulnerable African Penguin. Wooden walkways allow visitors to view the penguins in their natural habitat and there is also a new information centre. Children will love the penguins and their antics and Boulders Beach is also worth a stop for safe and enjoyable swimming.

World of Birds World of Birds, Hout Bay

World of Birds & Monkey Park is the largest bird park in Africa and Cape Town's premier tourist attraction. Visitors are able to walk through the aviaries and experience close-up encounters with cranes and guineafowl, monkeys and meerkats, owls and eagles. The sanctuary also cares for injured birds and is a breeding centre for threatened species. Great for kids. It is a quick 15 minute drive from Cape Town. along a scenic route.

Ratanga is definitely worth the visit, especially if you have children. There are many merry-go-rounds and other facilities that cater for the smaller children. A train runs through the entire park and every day there are variety, theatre and circus performances, puppet-theatre, stunt-shows and snake-shows. Many snack bars and restaurants invite you to take a break.
